My concentration is about my love for food and baking. Food is livelihood. I believe that people have a deep connection to food, the process of growing, preparing, making, and enjoying it. I use light and color to capture the joy and art of foods. I also use emphasis, rule of thirds, movement, and shape to draw the viewer into the process and love in the food. In the end of my concentration I explore the idea that in the industrialized world food lacks love and causes people harm.
Can I just eat my screen now??? These are incredible with how wonderful your texture and colors are! I hope that sometime, your pieces will be in a food magazine!
The texture in your first photo was great! I liked the smooth look next to the texture of the clumps of ingredients. The photo of the product on the round plate is my favorite, you can see the texture perfectly and taste the yumminess of the food.
